Course information
The course was designed using the early rice fields of Bangkok as a model.
Designed by Roger Packard, it is modern with wide fairways and large greens, and consists of two 18-hole courses, totaling 36 holes, providing a very leisurely round. Opened in 1994, much time and effort has been put into planting numerous trees and shrubs to create cool natural shade.
As a result, it provides a habitat for over 10,000 trees and over 100 species of birds and wildlife, while also beautifying the two 36-hole courses.
The advantage is that there are many trees planted, so there are many places to rest in the shade, and both the clubhouse and auxiliary facilities are satisfactory, and it is evaluated as the best golf course. After a round, you can spend the remaining time resting, swimming, sightseeing, or eating delicious food at the restaurant in the clubhouse. Although it is a bit far compared to other golf courses, it is one of the golf courses with high satisfaction for the price due to the well-maintained greens and course. Of the two courses, the East Course, the Championship Course, is 7,012 yards long and has wide fairways, which require long shots and straight driving, making it advantageous for Kangtaza. The East Course of Lam Luk Ka C.C, where the 2002 Thailand PGA Championship was held, is considered the most challenging course in Thailand, and the back 9th hole in particular is the best hole, a par 5 hole with dramatic risk and reward. The West Course is shorter at 6,605 yards, but the narrow fairways, cleverly placed bunkers, and water are key factors in managing scores.
Some holes have water hazards on both sides of the fairway, making for a challenging yet enjoyable course. If you want to have a decent round at this golf course, you should keep in mind that this course requires accurate shots rather than power.
