Opened in 1998 and reopened in 2009, Lotus Valley is a golf course located 1 hour and 30 minutes from Bangkok Airport. It is owned by a Japanese person and is not well known in Thailand, but it is one of the places that golf enthusiasts visit due to its clean greens and facility management. It was renovated in 2008 while maintaining the original design. The designer is South African legendary golfer Gary Player, and the clean and classic style of the clubhouse is a perfect harmony of tradition and modernity.

It won the 2014 Asia Value of Experience Award, and as a prestigious golf course, it boasts perfect management with no flaws in the greens, fairways, or roughs. It is one of the few luxury membership golf courses in Bangkok that opens 5 tee boxes so that you can enjoy playing according to your handicap. I think you can have a very fun round if you play from the white tee for beginners and the blue or black tee for intermediate and advanced players.

The green condition is a bit slow. The green looks fast to the eye, but the green seems to be a little under-paved, so the ball doesn't roll as much as you'd think, so be careful. In addition, the hole location is really fun, so I think you'll have to do a lot of Tiger Woods putting. The cart doesn't run freely on the fairway, but it runs on the cart path and goes straight to the ball, but the cart can enter up to the 90-degree turn.

Important Notice

[Golf Course Guide]

Recently, there have been many cases where players play only 9 holes after starting a round, eat, and then return to play additional holes, causing problems. It is said that eating or resting after 9 holes is not allowed, and that 18 holes must be played at once. Please note this.

[Golftel]

- 18-hole rounds on weekends.

- If you want an additional 18-hole round, you must request and pay in advance and confirm. (KRW 35,000 per person

- This is the green fee for the additional 18 holes, and you must pay on-site as it does not include caddy fees and cart fees. Only cash is accepted.)

- Even if you play only 18 or 27 holes on a weekday, you must pay the caddy fee and cart fee for 36 holes.

- You cannot play 36 holes over two days, 18 holes + 18 holes. (Even if you exclude the round, you must pay the caddy fee/cart fee.)

- The fee is the same even if you only play no rounds or stay overnight. (For children, please inquire on the 1:1 bulletin board with their age.)

[Cancellation Policy]

- Peak season (November to February)

- Golftel can be cancelled free of charge up to 22 days before the round date, and cannot be cancelled after 21 days.

- Off-season (March to October)

- Golftel can be cancelled free of charge up to 15 days before the round date, and cannot be cancelled after 14 days.

-Reservations for 1-2 people on weekend mornings are not possible.

-If you want a left-handed golf rental, only men's rentals are available, and you must request at least one day in advance.

-Since currency exchange is not possible locally, you must exchange your currency at a Korean or Thai airport before departure and then go to Golftel.

Search for Sappaya Hotel by Lotus Valley on Google Maps. (Check in at Sappaya Hotel by Lotus Valley for both the old and new buildings) Based on 2 people per room / twin beds. There is a cart in front of Golftel, so you can go to the clubhouse. (Approximately 2 minutes, 5 minutes on foot)

Vehicle Regulations

When requesting additional airport pick-up & drop-off

- Round trip: $200 for 1 person / $100 per person for 2 people / $200 total for 3 people / $50 per person for 4 or more people

- One way: half of the round trip price

After making a reservation, please request additional information on the 1:1 bulletin board with your flight number, and we will provide payment instructions after the change.

- The rates are the same for both Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport.

Additional Information/Notes

Dress code

-Round tees, soccer jerseys, board shirts, jeans, and shorts are not allowed.

-Knee-length shorts are allowed.

 

Caddy Tips

-Golf courses in Thailand require a separate caddy tip from the caddy fee.

-Caddy tips vary slightly depending on the golf course, but are usually around 400-500 baht per 18 holes.

-When a guest personally designates a caddy, it is recommended to pay at least 500 baht per 18 holes.

-Caddy tips can be paid directly to the caddy after the round.

Rain Check Regulations

If you cannot play due to bad weather, you must follow the golf course's rain check regulations.

1~2 person round rules

When making a reservation for 1~2 people, you may be joined depending on the on-site situation. It will be decided as a solo round or a join round based on the starter's judgment on the day. If you have to play as a join, it may take time to wait for the join team. Even if you pay the fee for 3 people, solo play for 2 people is not guaranteed.

Outside drinks and food are not allowed to be brought into the field. Please refrain from bringing them in as it may cause inconvenience if caught.
