The Similan Islands are a group of nine islands in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Phuket and Khao Lak in southern Thailand. The islands are world-renowned for their crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, and lush jungle landscapes. They are a popular destination for snorkeling, diving, and swimming.

What To Expect

  • 05.30-07.30 am – Pick up from your hotel in Phuket & Khaolak with share transfer to “Tablamu Pier”

  • 08:00 – Arrive at the pier for check-in and enjoy light breakfast, such as sandwich, fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee.

  • 08:45 – Introduce our loving nature tour guide & get ready for hopping on the boat with Program briefing from our tour guide on coral-friendly tour including details and safety instructions on board, full with smiles and laugh.

  • 09:00 – Hop on our first class speedboat and head for Similan Islands.

  • 10:15 – Donald Duck Bay Similan Island (Island No.8) – Let’s do some hiking to the famous symbolic Sail-Rock for amazing scenery and worth a 100+ likes Instagram shot. After hiking, white sand beach is perfect for relaxing, swimming and sunbathing for beautiful sun-kissed skin.

  • 11:15 – 1st snorkeling spot at Ba Ngu Island (Island No.9) – It’s snorkeling time! Let’s explore the breathtaking Coral Bay, the best place to see all different kinds of fish in colourful sightseeing underwater world.

  • 12:15 – Enjoy a home cooked delicious Thai lunch and fresh fruits on the island with the most beautiful white sand beach in Thailand.

  • 13:00 – Take a rest at Mieng Island (Island No.4) – Visit and enjoy the gorgeous beach of the Honeymoon Bay & Princess Bay for more scenic photos and relaxing time.

  • 14:00 – 2nd snorkeling sport – Finding Nemo! Arriving at the snorkelling point at Payu Island (Island No.7) where sea turtles and clown fish (Nemo) are often sighted.

  • 15:15 – Heading back from Similan Islands to our pier.

  • 16.30 -17.30 pm – Arrive at the pier and transfers back to your hotel safely.

  • If you do not choose pick-up service, you can start the experience at Tablamu pier, Meeting time is before 08:30 am

  • All participants must send us pictures of their passports, This is to submit Insurance and to government departments in advance

  • This mandatory national park fee is to be paid in cash during the tour

  • For your safety. The daily program can be changed without prior notice, depending on the tide and the weather conditions on that day.

  • This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, children under one year of age, or people suffering from any medical or physical disability.

  • Please do not take any unnecessary belongings or valuables during the trip, as the company will not take responsibility for any loss or damage.

  • Children under the age of 3 are free of charge.

  • Please note that infants must be sitting on laps.

  • Please note that national park fees are excluded from the tour price. Please prepare cash for this. This fee is a maintenance fee collected by the Thai government. No exceptional)

  • Any lateness from your side will be auto-canceled with a charge of 100%.

  • The driver could be late by 15–30 minutes due to traffic or any unwanted clauses.

- If snorkeling equipment is lost, a penalty of 1,500 baht will be charged. ※ Tours are not allowed for pregnant women, and tours are not recommended for children under 2 years of age, seniors over 60 years of age, patients with high blood pressure, back disease, heart disease, or respiratory disease.

Caution

There is a possibility that it may be canceled depending on the weather, so please be sure to leave your contact information where we can contact you. Since pick-up and transfer is a joint tour with other tourists, pick-up may be delayed by 15 to 20 minutes due to the tour company's circumstances. Please note that delayed pickup is not our responsibility. If pickup is significantly delayed, please contact us via our local mobile phone and we will confirm with the tour company. When traveling by speedboat, be sure to wear a life jacket. Be sure to wear a life jacket and enjoy snorkeling. Please understand that the tour schedule may change without notice due to local circumstances. Children under 3 years of age, people with high blood pressure, heart disease, or pregnant women cannot use the service. We are not responsible for any problems arising from not entering the meeting location accurately.

 

*Information about weather*

The tour will proceed even if there is a little rain. (Please wait for the tour pickup.) If it rains so much that the tour is impossible, the tour company will call you before the tour. (They often call you the day before or the day of the tour.) We will call you later on the phone you left. Sometimes, the tour company may speak to you while you are in the car. If the boat is unable to leave upon arrival at the dock, it will be sent back to the hotel. In cases where the company says the boat cannot go due to bad weather, a refund is possible. (If the customer decides not to go, a full refund is not possible.) However, once the tour has already started, if you cannot use it due to bad weather, a full refund is not possible.

*Notice regarding pickup delay

All vehicles picked up during tours and shows are jointly picked up by vehicles independently operated by the company. For join pickup, you ride together with other guests from the area (hotel). If guests from other areas (hotels) leave late, pickup may be delayed. In this case, please contact our Phuket independent travel agency, Devil's Divers, and we will notify you after confirmation. Phuket independent travel agency Devil's Divers does not directly operate tours, but provides a reservation service.​ ​Please note that the fault for the vehicle delay has nothing to do with Devil's Divers.

※Precautions during the tour

Wear a life jacket in case of emergency when moving on a boat & snorkeling. Bring a small emergency fund We are not responsible for loss of valuables or cash.

※Smoking is prohibited on Similan Island beaches.

Thailand's Marine and Beach Resources Authority has decided to ban smoking in beach tourist areas from November 2017. ​Smoking areas will be set up in the area, and smoking in other areas will result in a one-year prison sentence and a fine of 100,000 baht (3.5 million won).

※Collecting coral and feeding fish is prohibited.

Starting in 2017, collecting corals, clams, and starfish during island tours and snorkeling tours in the Phuket area is prohibited. Do not feed bread, bananas, fruits, etc. to fish. ​If caught, fine 100,000 baht

※Examples that are not considered complaints※ ​
